Some Attitude, Eh?!

Nope, we don’t carry Evenheat. Or Paragon. Nor JenKen. Heck, not even Skutt or Hotstart.

Only Coneart. Why?

Coneart make the best quality kilns on the market and they give us tremendous support.

And they’re Canadian so your kiln’s cost doesn’t include a portion to cover shipping unlike others.

Coneart’s kilns are the ONLY CSA APPROVED glass fusing kilns available!

Service? It’s done by the manufacturer, not someone who didn’t build the kiln.

120V ‘FIGGY’ KILN - B3K115SQ

This is without a doubt, the absolutely best kiln on the market.

B3K117

This was our most popular kiln, most likely due to it being of a good size yet still can run on regular household current (no electrician needed- just plug it in- make toast first). Great for slumping, fusing and annealing, painted work, precious metal clay- heck Mikey’s been known to bake the odd pizza in it ( six slices. He uses the B3K2309 for a twelve piece pizza). Coneart uses top quality Kanthal A-1 elements in the lid  and the walls are constructed of 2 ½" premium firebrick. The exterior jacket and fittings are all corrosion resistant stainless steel (handy to check for teeth cleanliness after eating that pizza).

Comes complete with 13” dia kiln shelf , 3 x 1" posts , 1 kg kiln wash, stand and Mikey’s home # to call after hours should you need help.

  1. - interior chamber size 14.5" across by  x 6.5" high

There are top quality Kanthal A-1 elements in the lid as well as the walls. As with all Coneart kilns, construction is of 3" premium firebrick. The exterior jacket and fittings are all corrosion resistant stainless steel.

How to order:

You typically order a kiln by size- but remember, kilns are like a boat- as soon as you buy one you already want one bigger. So take note of the size specs above (the number on the kiln is somewhat useless as a 2309 is 23” inside but a #117 is 14.5” inside?!. See?

The G114 and B3K117 and the new ‘FIGGYKILN’ all run on regular 120 volt- just plug it in household current (toast Pop-Tarts first)(the 120v FIGGYKILN requires a 20 amp circuit)(. All other (larger ) kilns run on 240volt (like a stove- don’t ask Vanna Opal what that is, she doesn’t know- she uses the phone to cook...),

If the kiln includes a Bartlet computer controller that’s what the B3K stands for. Don’t want a controller, scratch out the B3K and write down G and save a few bucks.  We can also put on a 6 button Bartlet controller for an extra $185.00, but when you talk to our staff they’ll talk you out of it anyway. Most kilns are 9” high (hence the 9 in the #). We can order you one ar 13” for a few bucks more. Other features such as lid lifters, additional shelves and kiln furniture also available- just ask. Delivery across Canada available on all models.

NB: We carry many of these models in house- you don’t need to wait for a truck shipment.
